The law requires that all public service vehicles (PSV), operating in the UK must be equipped with a first aid kit. Meeting the compulsory minimum standard of contents, the PSV kit also complies with the legal requirements for the container to be of “a good and reliable quality and of a suitable design”. The Durham carry case is tough and practical. It meets the legal requirement to be “prominently marked as a first aid receptacle”, and is purposefully designed to protect the contents from moisture and dust. The regulations also mandate that the kit must be “readily available for use”. To aid compliance, a mounting bracket that will attach the carry case to a vehicle bulkhead or cabin is included.
